Fun Day in the Sun
Enjoy a "Fun Day in the Sun" — picnicking
on the beach, swimming in the ocean, strolling along
the water's edge, jogging in the sand...

Beach Volleyball is a popular Santa Barbara pastime — we're
big fans now after watching both the U.S. men's and women's team
win Gold medals at the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics.

Santa Barbara Restaurants
— Beach/Ocean View Restaurants
East Beach Grill
1118 E. Cabrillo Blvd
805-965-8805
Casual dining with beach views — outdoor tables on the promenade overlooking
the ocean. Great Hamburgers and Fries... and Milkshakes so thick you have to
eat it with a spoon.
Shoreline Beach Cafe
801 Shoreline Drive
- 805-568-0064
You can't get much closer to the beach than this — some of the tables
are right on the sand! Casual-style cafe, deck and outdoor patio overlooks
the beach. Enjoy al fresco dining — delicious Baja-style Fish Tacos
and Fresh Ahi Pupus (grilled or seared). This is a great place to come at sunset
and watch the sun go down as dusk turns to night. It's really spectacular during
a full moon.
Boathouse
@ Hendry's Beach
(same owners as Santa Barbara Shellfish Co. at the wharf and Fish House on
Cabrillo)
