Boulder Falls

Boulder Falls @ Boulder Canyon
Boulder Falls is located approximately 11
miles west of Boulder — a
short distance up Boulder Canyon. Take Canyon Blvd. (Hwy 119)
west and watch for the sign roughly halfway
between Boulder
and Nederland.
Park on the side of the road and walk across
the street (it's busy, so be careful). Follow the trail — it's
a short
.3 mile hike in to see the 70-ft-high waterfalls
up
close.
It's well worth the drive
and hike to see the cascading waterfalls, especially
if this is your first visit to the Boulder area.

The small viewing area gives you great views
for taking pictures of the scenic Boulder Falls — where North
Boulder Creek plunges 70 feet into Middle Boulder Creek.
It's an easy hike, however, we suggest
that you wear comfortable walking shoes — when we visited
the falls, we had just come from a Graduation Party and
found it a little challenging navigating the trail in heels
(see photos below).

Boulder Falls Hours
Boulder Falls is open from dawn to dusk.
Note: No overnight camping is allowed and there
are no public facilities.
