Liberace fans will LOVE the Liberace Museum. Located just
a short drive from the main Las Vegas Strip, it is one of the

tourist attractions
in Las Vegas...and Nevada :)
 The Museum is divided into two areas: The old section features
the Piano & Car
Galleries and the new museum features Costumes, Jewelry and Awards.

Piano and Car Galleries
Building One houses Liberace's famous Piano Collection one of
the 18 pianos on display is the rhinestone-covered Baldwin that
he used in the finale of his last performance at Radio City Music Hall in
New York City.

This building also displays Liberace's collection of rare Classic
Cars. Did You Know...
Liberace was known around the world as "Mr. Showmanship." Highly
acclaimed, he won many prestigious awards over the
years, including: "Instrumentalist
of the Year,"
"Best Dressed Entertainer" and "Entertainer
of the Year."
And that's not all...he also earned
two Emmy Awards, six Gold Albums, and two Stars
on Hollywood's Walk of Fame.
Liberace is also listed in the Guinness
Book of World Records as
the "World's Highest Paid Musician and Pianist."

Palm Springs bedroom,
and the Awards Gallery.

The World's
Largest Austrian Rhinestone
WOW! It's well worth a trip to the Liberace
Museum just to see "The
World's Largest Austrian Rhinestone" — it's quite
a sight!
Other collections include pieces of rare Moser Crystal from Czechoslovakia.
Liberace owned Service for 12, with 14 individual glasses for each
setting. It is one of two collections ever hand made the
other is owned by Queen Elizabeth II.
