Fun Things To Do in Albany
Visit Washington Park, home of Albany's annual Tulip Festival — over 2,000 tulips are planted here every year. The festival, held in early May, marks the beginning of Spring.

Walk the Hudson River Way Pedestrian Bridge and enjoy Free Summer Concerts at Albany Riverfront Park's 800-seat amphitheater.

Take a stroll through Albany's Lark Street neighborhood. Similar to New York city's Greenwich Village, it has lots of little restaurants, cafes and shops.

Picnic in Lincoln Park. The popular city park has the largest public swimming pool in the country. During winter months, the park offers the best sleigh-riding in Albany. It is also home to the Martin Luther King, Jr. memorial and the Missing Persons Memorial.

Albany is steeped in history and Dutch heritage. Dutch and American natives first settled here, hence all the Dutch architecture.
