Niagara Wine Region
Buffalo is surrounded by world-class wine regions. Enjoy a fun day of wine-tasting at wineries in the following areas:
Niagara Falls is approximately 20 miles north of Buffalo — it makes a great day trip or getaway weekend.
Niagara Falls can be seen from both the U.S. side and the Canadian side. If you have the time, cross the border into Canada (across Rainbow Bridge) and walk along the scenic promenade overlooking both the American and Canadian Falls — the views are absolutely breathtaking!
From the American side, the falls can be viewed from walkways along Prospect Point Park, which also features the Observation Tower and a boat dock for the "Maid of the Mist" boat rides.
Visit the City of Niagara Falls — the fun resort destination is packed with tourists during the busy summer months. Clifton Hill is one of the most popular tourist destinations at Niagara Falls — located on the Canadian side, its streets are filled with specialty gift shops, arcades, wax museums, haunted houses, restaurants, hotels, nightclubs and fun attractions, including Skylon Tower Observation Deck and the Niagara SkyWheel (giant ferris wheel).
