Thank you Carrie and Steve for introducing us to Chin Chin's. With so many fabulous New York restaurants, this one rates right up there.

Chin Chin's features two elegant dining rooms, both upscale with a romantic setting. Over the years, owner Jimmy Chin has consistently been rated as one of New York City's most gracious hosts and the restaurant has received many honors and awards.

Come early for a drink — the sleek bar area is very nice.

Food
The food here is sensational — we love the Peking Duck. Visiting from California, we didn't expect each of us to be served what looked to us like a "large stuffed Duck burrito" — back home, diners fill their own little pancakes or buns. However, we have No complaints — it was terrific!

Grand Marnier Prawns are sensational too — we know one person who can make a meal of this dish alone! The Eggplant with Garlic Sauce is a good accompaniment to this.

We should mention that before ordering your meal, each table is served with complimentary bowls of Chilled Green Beans and Marinated Bean Sprouts — delicious.

Fabulous appetizers include Pan Fried Pork Dumplings and tender BBQ Spare Ribs — they're a little messy, but worth it!

If you still have room, finish off your meal with a light Sorbet.

Excellent selection of fine wines from around the world.

Private Parties at Chin Chin
Chin Chin welcomes Banquets, Private Parties, and outside Catering.

Two dining rooms are available for Private Parties — the smaller room accommodates a min of 15 and a max of 25 people; the larger accommodates a min of 35 and a max of 55.
