Description & Atmosphere
John's Pizzeria was established in 1929. It is located on Bleecker Street, in the heart of Greenwich Village.

John's Pizzeria - main dining room with informal booth seating and family-style tables down the middle

The restaurant features two dining rooms in an informal setting — one room has a red ceiling and colorful artwork on the walls the other room is a little more casual — it feels like two separate restaurants.

Booth seating is available on each side of the rooms. Tables in the middle can be set up family-style to accommodate larger groups.

Overhead fans and air-conditioners keep you  cool on warm summer days...and nights.

There's a reason for the line out the door during peak times. Once you get a whiff of the garlic and taste John's delicious thin-crust pizza, we think you'll agree that it's some of the best in the city.

John's is famous for its coal-fired pizza oven (below) and its unique 900 degree setting.
