One World Trade Center
(formerly Freedom Tower)

The 1,776-foot-tall One World Trade Center (formerly Freedom Tower) skyscraper at Ground Zero opened late 2014. The 104-story building is New York Ciy's tallest skyscraper.

The building (pictured right, in the background behind the low wall surrounding the Memorial pool) features an observation deck, restaurants, and a beacon of light emanating from its top at night. It is intended to be the nation's tallest — and the world's safest building.

World Trade Center Observatory
The World Trade Center Observatory opened to the public on May 29, 2015. Located on the 102nd floor, the observation deck offers breathtaking views of NYC.
