Conservatory Garden
— The Gardens of Europe in Manhattan

The Conservatory Garden is located on the East Side, from 104th-106th Streets — enter at Fifth Ave & 105th Street or 106th Street gate inside Park)

The six-acre Conservatory Garden is Central Park's only formal garden. It is in fact three gardens representing different landscaping styles: Italian, French, and English.

The Italian-style garden sits just inside the entrance, the classical French-style garden is to the north, and the beautiful English-style garden is located to the South.

Enjoy strolling through these beautiful gardens year-round as the season changes.

Note: Check out the walkway under the wrought-iron wisteria pergola (on the west side of the Italian garden) — there are medallions inscribed with the names of the original thirteen states.
