Lundi Gras — Fat
Monday
Almost as popular as Mardi Gras, Lundi Gras is also referred to as "Fat
Monday" — "Gras" is
French for "Fat" and "Lundi" is
French for "Monday." Lundi Gras
festivities include the popular Zulu Lundi Gras Festival
and the "Krewe
of Orpheus Parade."
