Ed's Three Favorite New Orleans Restaurants
Ed Franklin, one of our San Francisco friends, wanted to share three of his favorite New Orleans Restaurants with our Love to Eat and Travel readers. Check 'em out next time you're in the Big Easy :)

1. Irene's Cuisine
(French Italian)
539 St. Philip Street

Old style setting, classic New Orleans style cooking, excellent range of dishes, attentive staff, reasonably priced. Irene's is located in the historic French Quarter.

2. Adolfo's
(Creole & Italian)
611 Frenchmen Street

Impossible to find, funky upstairs location (but by all means have a drink at the downstairs and independently run bar), Creole and Italian food, outstanding value and preparation — a truly unique experience. Adolfo's is very small and known only to locals. Worth the search.

3. K-Paul's
K-Paul's Louisiana Kitchen
416 Chartres Street

K-Paul's offers the classic celebrity chef experience. Paul Prudhomme is typically lurking somewhere, the food is good (but not excellent), setting is very nice, prices surprisingly affordable. Downstairs is the gift shop. K-Paul's is located in the heart of the historic French Quarter.
