Terra Cotta Warriors
& Horses
Over 8,000 life-size Terra-Cotta Soldiers had
been guarding the first Emperor of China's tomb since 211 BC. In
1974, the tomb was discovered by farmers digging an irrigation well
near the base of Qin's pyramid.
Planted in battle formation, each of the soldier's
bodies are identical cast from the same mold although
their faces are unique.
