Museum in Docklands
Steeped in history, Canary Wharf once known as Stepney
Marsh, is built on the site of the old West India Docks
on the Isle of Dogs. Today, the popular Canary Wharf at London's Docklands is
one of the city's most thriving business and shopping districts.

Wharf Tower, Britain's tallest building, is
also located at Canary Wharf. Note that the office building is not open
to the public.

Visit the Museum in Docklands, housed in a large warehouse on West India Quay.
Learn about the history of London, its people, the River Thames, London's Port
and Docklands. The museum is open daily. Outside the museum, workers built a
replica of a merchant ship that left London for Jamestown, Virginia in 1606.
