Description & Atmosphere
Café de la Paix is extremely popular. The famous large bustling café sits on a busy Paris intersection, across from the Opera — it's one of the best places in Paris for people-watching.

Food
During one visit — following our shopping excursion to nearby Galleries Lafayette — we relaxed on the café's terrace and ordered a cup of black coffee, a glass of wine, and a mineral water — and they were all the same price! Guess we're spoilt by Starbucks.

One menu item that you might want to try is a favorite of the Parisians — Croque Monsieur — a toasted Ham and Grilled Cheese sandwich. It's deeeeelicious!
