The "One and Only"
Gilligan's Island — yes...that one... made famous in the popular
60's TV show — is noted to be located in the Bahamas, near Paradise Island
and Nassau/New Providence Island. 
Additional filming of the TV show also took place in
Hawaii and at a studio in Los Angeles.
The photos above give you a bird's eye view of Sandy Cay, one
of the most photographed Islands and recognizable as the island
in the
opening
shot of "Gilligan's Island" TV series. It

Gilligan's Island TV Show
The TV comedy featured seven people who cast off on a 3-hour boat ride, got
caught in a bad storm and ended up shipwrecked on a deserted island.
Those stranded included Gilligan, the Skipper, a millionaire
(Thurston Howell III) and his wife (Lovey Howell), a movie
star (Ginger Grant), "The Professor," and Mary
Ann.
