The Mayan Temple
The replica of an ancient 6-story Mayan Temple and its five thrilling
Water Slides is one of the resorts most popular attractions.
"Leap of Faith" Water
Slide
This ride really lives up to its name. It begins with a 60-ft.
almost-vertical drop from the top of the Temple (top photo),
through a tunnel submerged in
a shark-filled
lagoon, and
ends feet-first into a small pool
at the bottom of the Temple (photo below) — What
a rush!
Tip
Don't wear any jewelry or sunglasses...or anything you might lose
along the ride.
When you get to the top of the slide, don't look down, and keep
your eyes closed (or you might have second thoughts about taking
this giant "Leap of Faith").
Aquaventure Day Pass
Visitors to the Atlantis Resort can now enjoy Atlantis waterslides rides
by purchasing an Aquaventure Day Pass for $150 per person. 
Jungle Slide
The Jungle Slide, a high-speed adventurous safari ride, takes
you through the exotic jungles and caves of the Temple. Fun for
the whole family!
The Mayan Temple also offers gentler rides for younger guests.
A series of slides connect the many cascading pools of the Temple
complex.
Note: Guests must be at least 48 inches
tall to ride the water slides.
Each day, Atlantis guests are given a different colored plastic bracelet to wear
before they pick up their beach towels.

"The Serpent" Slide
The corkscrew Serpent Water Slide starts 5-stories up the
Mayan Temple. The ride begins by zigzagging — at a high speed — down
the center of the Temple in total darkness while sitting on a giant
inner tube.
You
emerge through the Predator Lagoon where you leisurely float along
in a clear tunnel (photos above and below) submerged in shark-filled
waters — a
thrilling finale to this fun-filled Water Slide.
"The Challengers" Water
Slides
The Challengers, two high-speed dueling water slides (photos
below), brings out your competitive side.
Challenge your Top Performers,
spouse,
kids, or friends to this thrilling ride. Be sure to check your
speeds on the time clock at the bottom of the slide to see who
won.
Power Tower Water Slide
at Aquaventure
The Power Tower water slide is located at
Atlantis's new Aquaventure. It is almost twice as high as the Mayan
Temple Waterslide — and
almost three times the size...WOW! The thrilling water ride takes
you
down slides and tubes, thru' water and "fire" and drops you into
the
lazy river. It's quite a ride :)
