Horseshoe Bay Beach

This horseshoe-shaped bay (try saying THAT fast) is one of Bermuda's most famous and popular beaches. Its white/pink sand — cool to the touch, even in the hottest temperatures — feels like talcum powder beneath your feet. And its beautiful aqua waters are clear and warm.

Plan to get to the beach by 10am — before the crowds. (By noon the beach is packed, especially if the cruise ships are in port.) If you're taking a taxi or moped, it's only about 15 minutes from downtown Hamilton.

Beach rentals include beach chairs, umbrellas, rafts and snorkel equipment. Facilities include changing rooms, showers and restrooms. There's even a snack bar, albeit a very small and casual one. Lifeguards are on duty during the Summer months.
