Departures
Trains leave from St Pancras International in central London and Ashford in Kent*
(the last stop before going under the tunnel), with stops along
the way at Calais and Lille, to its final destination in Paris at
Gare du Nord.
*There are now two Kent stations (Ebbsfleet International and Ashford International) though not all trains stop at all stations.
NOTE: Be prepared to wait a while for a taxi once
you get out of Gare du Nord station in Paris. During our last visit,
there were no shortage of taxis when we arrived just hundreds
of people, waiting in long lines, in total chaos. It was 2:30pm
on a Monday in June and we waited for about an hour.
