The amphibious craft, originally known as "DUKWS" were first used for the D-Day landings. In their eye-catching yellow livery, today's vehicles bear little resemblance to their military predecessors.

The vehicles have been extensively refurbished and fitted with the latest environmentally-friendly diesel engines. The deluxe refits includes comfortable seating for 30 passengers, a public address system and full safety equipment.
