on USS Hornet,
USS Hornet Museum, 707 W. Hornet Ave, Pier 3, Alameda. In recognition
of their service to our country, military veterans wearing their
unit jackets, hats,
or showing proper ID at the ticket desk will receive
complimentary admission to the USS Hornet Museum Nov
10-16. American veterans will be honored during a public ceremony
on the historic aircraft carrier on Veteran’s Day, Tuesday,

Pacific Heritage Museum, 608 Commercial St (between Montgomery
and Kearny), S.F. The exhibition showcases winning
pieces from a childrens' art competition held at three children's
hospitals at Shanghai, Beijing and Taipei earlier this year.
All paintings in the show will be available for purchase — proceeds
will benefit Shanghai Children's Medical Center and Project
HOPE's Mission to improve access to healthcare for children

event features skating, dancing and songs from the HOT new show — "Disney's
High School Musical: The Ice Tour." The event will
include performances by local musicians brought to you by KDFC — and
a spectacular Pyrotechnic
Show Finale that will dazzle
the City’s skyline. Four hours of free parking at Embarcadero

Stanford Football Game, Memorial
Stadium, Berkeley. The 111th Big Game between Stanford
and Cal, set for November 22nd at Memorial Stadium in Berkeley,
will be televised locally
in the San Francisco, Sacramento, Fresno and Monterey markets
on ABC. Kick-off is Scheduled kick-off 12:30pm. Nov.

Romp and Holiday Ice Skating at SF Zoo, San Francisco
Zoo, S.F. Join in the fun on the Zoo's covered ice rink and
meet Santa's Reindeer. Ice Skating Tickets (incl skates but
NOT Zoo admission): $6 adults/youth, $4 children (11 and under).
Skating slots available 11am-4pm — ice time good for

39 Tree Lighting Ceremony,
S.F. Pier 39's festive Tree Lighting
Ceremony and Santa always draws a crowd. The festive multi-cultural
celebration showcases
Christmas, Chanukah and Kawanzaa.
Pier 39's Holiday Harmony features Bay Area groups
performing seasonal favorites from around the world. Pier
39's Tree and its 400 ornaments, 500 multi-colored bows and
2,000 twinkling lights will be illuminated at 5:30pm in the

Christmas Fair,
Cow Palace, South S.F. Five Weekends (including the Friday
