Named after Pebble Beach golf pro, Peter Hay, the par-3 course is located across the street from the famed Pebble Beach Golf Links. Open to the public.

21. Pebble Beach Equestrian Center
Pebble Beach Equestrian Center offers riding lessons and guided horseback trail rides (including trail rides to the beach). West Coast equestrian events are also held here.

Bird Rock is one of the most popular stops along the 17-Mile Drive. It's a "must-see" especially if you like birds, harbor seals and sea lions — there are hundreds of them! Picnic tables, restrooms and parking area.

13. Fanshell Overlook
White sand beach on one side of the scenic coastal overlook... and crashing waves on the other side. Closed during harbor seal pupping season April 1-June 1.

Native pine and cypress trees are abundant in this 13-acre nature reserve.


16. The Lone Cypress
The Lone Cypress Tree (pictured top left) is "one of the most famous trees in the world." It's also one of the most photographed areas along the scenic drive.
