Cuisine: Chinese Dim Sum
Description & Atmosphere
Ed, thanks again for introducing us to this casual
little Dim Sum "take out" on Clement Street.
Don't be surprised if there's a line out the door when you visit
Wing Lee Bakery — it's extremely
popular
with the locals. As you might have guessed by now, it's
not your typical bakery — this one offers fabulous
freshly-made Dim Sum at very reasonable prices.
Limited seating is available inside (there are five tables),
but most people order the Dim Sum "To Go."
If you do decide to eat there, don't expect table service or anything
fancy. Order and pay for your meal at the counter. Dim Sum
comes on a metal plate, lined with a thin plastic sheeting. OK...so
it's not the Ritz, but it's good and they offer a large selection
of mouth-watering Dim Sum :)

Food
Wing Lee's Dim Sum is larger than what you'd typically
find at other Chinese restaurants, especially the Steamed
BBQ Pork Buns (filled with hearty chunks of tasty pork) and Sticky
Rice with Chicken wrapped in Lotus Leaf — both
of which are delicious and filling (see photos below).

Other popular Dim Sum offerings include: Shrimp Dumplings, Potstickers,
Spring Rolls, Baked BBQ Buns, Rice Noodle Rolls, Pork Siu Mai,
Vegetarian Dumplings, Chicken Skewers, BBQ Pork Pastry Turnovers...
and much, much more! Are you hungry yet?
