the shops and
restaurants
are packed.
Traditional Chinese dance and music is performed on the main
stage and a Children's
Area features a petting zoo and
photo area.
Largest Parade outside Asia
San Francisco's Chinese New Year's Parade is the largest event of
its kind outside of Asia. The Parade usually starts at approximately
5:30pm at Market & Second
Streets, through Union Square and ends in Chinatown at Kearny & Columbus.
Enjoy decorated floats, Chinese acrobatics,
Lion Dancing, a Golden Dragon and fun festive activities. Free
admission.
