Ocean Beach

Ocean Beach
Ocean Beach is San Francisco's largest beach and popular
with sunbathers, picnickers and surfers alike. The beach stretches
alongside the city's Great Highway and offers spectacular
Pacific Ocean views. It's a fun
place
for
people-watching.

Pack a picnic lunch,
sunbathe, take a leisurely walk or jog along the beach. Watch the
surfers as they ride the waves.
NOTE: Ocean Beach is extremely cold and its rough waters and dangerous
riptides make swimming unsafe. If you do take a dip, be
prepared — the water is COLD. No beach fee.

Cliff House at Ocean Beach
Take a walk
or stop by San Francisco's historic Cliff
House
at nearby Point Lobos — enjoy brunch, lunch or dinner and spectacular
ocean views.
