The Moss Room is located at the California Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park.

Take the stairs down to The Moss Room, aptly named for its dramatic two-story-tall living wall of moss that serves as a backdrop to the elegant Olle Lundberg-designed dining room — Olle also designed the interior of Charles Phan's Slanted Door.

How to Get to the
Moss Room
There are several ways to get to the Moss Room, located inside the California Academy of Sciences — take the elevator (located just outside the Academy Cafe, on the left side) down to the restaurant.

Or, walk to the back of the Academy Café and take the stairs down to the restaurant.

Visitors can also enter the Academy Cafe from the Academy Gardens outdoor patio, (located in the back of the museum) and take the stairs down to the Moss Room.

The Moss Room Bar
A sleek-looking bar is located just steps away from the bottom of the stairs that lead down to The Moss Room (pictured below).
