Maverick's Surf Contest
Each year, top surfers from around

to compete in the Maverick's Surf Contest and ride what many consider

to the breakwater and tide pools. The hiking trail ends at the beach — take
a leisurely walk along the water's edge. The serene small beach area is also
a fun place to collect seashells and pebbles.
