A balloon flight above Napa Valley is a great way to start your day. Plan to arrive at the departure site early, preferably by 6am — the best time for a balloon flight is early in the morning when the winds are gentle and the air is cool. Dress casually, preferably in layers. Wake up with hot coffee and fresh pastries as you become acquainted with your pilot and other passengers.

Our one-hour balloon flight — with Adventures Aloft — launched at approximately 6:30am. The sunrise views, as we floated high over Napa Valley, were absolutely breathtaking. Don't forget to bring your camera. Upon landing, we were transported back to Yountville to enjoy a delicious brunch with Domaine Chandon Sparkling Wine. Each person received a special Certificate commemorating the Balloon Flight.

Flights are seven days a week, weather permitting. Don't forget to call early in the morning, when you wake up, prior to turning up at the departure site to make sure that your flight is still a GO. If there is any wind or fog, the launch might be cancelled. Reservations are required.
