"Tutankhamun and the
Golden Age
of the Pharaohs"
"Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the
Pharaohs" features over 130 artifacts — ranging
from small jewels to a whole sarcophagus — from the tomb
of Tutankhamun, his
royal predecessors, his family, and court officials.
The historic exhibition
includes 50 pieces from King Tut's tomb (originally
exhibited around the world in 1979) plus an additional 80 objects
from the tombs
of his
ancestors.
Even if you attended the previous "King
Tut" exhibit
back in 1979, there's so many more
amazing objects to see this time around. Audio tours are highly recommended — you
get a lot of detailed and historical information. This
exhibit is spectacular — be prepared for crowds!
