The world-famous "Sleepless in Seattle" House Boat is docked off Westlake Avenue on Seattle's Lake Union. This house boat was Tom Hanks' home in the romantic 1993 movie "Sleepless in Seattle" — also starring Meg Ryan, Rita Wilson, Bill Pullman, David Hyde Pierce, and Rosie O'Donnell.

The famous "Sleepless in Seattle" house boat was painted white for the movie. Today, it's painted tan with green trim and purple French doors. The house boat was used for " external" movie shots only — "internal" shots were filmed in a Seattle sound stage.
